Get Out and Vote for Kids!

Last week, in coffee shops, pizza places, campuses, backyards and homes around the country, our volunteers got together to get ready to vote for kids on November 6. They made their plan to vote and then wrote postcards to friends and family asking them to do the same. Here are a few of our favorite photos to give you a taste of what these amazing supporters did!

Volunteers in Arkansas hosted a voting party where they made their plans to vote.
Student Ambassadors from the Illinois Math and Science Academy got together to learn more about SCAN’s work, share their experiences on our issues, work on their elevator pitches and write post cards reminding teachers to vote!
Volunteers in Iowa hosted a debate watch party where they watched Congressman Rod Blum and Representative Abby Finkenauer discuss critical issues in their congressional district. They also made their plans to vote.
University of New Hampshire students organized a “dorm storm” where they handed out information on where to vote, same-day voter registration and sample ballots.
Advocates in South Carolina welcomed each other at a house party to have brunch and share their voting plans.
Our volunteers in Tennessee organized a get together to sign postcards to family and friends urging them to vote on November 6.
Finally, volunteers in Vancouver, Wash. hosted a tabling to remind folks to vote and encourage them to make a plan for Election Day.

Don’t miss out on the fun! Make your plan to vote today!
