Victories in 2017

Wow, what a year! Thanks to our donors, activists, Student Ambassadors and volunteer leaders, we were able to accomplish a great deal for children in the U.S. and around the world in 2017. This year alone, staff, volunteers and students held a total of 248 events that reached close to 56,000 people! We delivered nearly 900,000 messages to lawmakers on kids’ issue, conducted 47 training sessions that educated more than 600 advocates. This means more voices advocating for children.

In this infographic, check out more of our victories from 2017 and take a moment to feel proud of all that you’ve accomplished!

Yet despite these achievements, there is still more work to be done. Congress is running out of time to pass 2018 funding bills – and so much is at stake for kids in the U.S. and around the world. Let’s end 2017 on a strong note by advocating once again on behalf of kids!

Urge congress to protect funding for critical kids’ programs.
