Home Actions Speak Out Against Violations of the Rights of Children Seeking Safety in the U.S.

As the Trump administration seeks to protect our public health during the coronavirus pandemic, we must also protect the lives of vulnerable children seeking asylum in the U.S. Right now, unaccompanied children are being forced back to Mexico or to their countries of origin without being able to apply for asylum. And, right now, children are being held in overcrowded detention centers where coronavirus is already spreading and infecting children.

We can keep the American public safe without putting the lives of children at risk.
Send a message to your members of Congress and to the Trump administration today urging them to follow U.S. and international law and keep unaccompanied children safe.

  • Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) was created in 2014 as the political advocacy arm of Save the Children, to be the political voice for kids. We work to ensure that the issues critical to children’s lives and futures are given top priority by our elected leaders, building bipartisan support to make sure every child has a strong start in life.
